Hunger Rates Climbing in Chicago
A recent news article from CBS outlines the hunger challenges facing the Chicago community: more than 800,000 Cook County residents are struggling with hunger, and 1 in 6 children in our area face food challenges on a daily basis. We’ve even seen numbers that show some of our local neighborhoods are reaching food insecurity levels of more than 50%.
To help reverse these startling trends, Vital Insurance Agency is launching an ongoing campaign to help provide meals to food challenged families in our area.
We Can Make a Difference
Vital Insurance is proud to be a regional Ambassador for the #AgentsofChange initiative, a network of agencies that work to support nonprofit efforts in communities around the country. Our goals will be to provide healthy and nutritious meals to families and children in the Chicago region, as well as supporting efforts to improve educational resources and curb the long term growth of hunger in our area.
We can’t do this alone, and we need your help.
Be Part of the Vital Team
We’d like to make a donation in YOUR name to a local program aimed at improving access to food and increasing educational effectiveness. All we need you to do is send a friend or loved one into Vital Insurance so that we can share our commitment to this cause. We will gladly provide them with a free insurance consultation, and then make a contribution to a local food support program or educational initiative in your name.
Let’s Work Together to End Hunger
There’s never been a better time to get involved. Join us, and let’s work together to improve outcomes for all the families in the Chicago community.
